  1. Special sanction of QMG branch has to be obtained before processing documents with CSD Depot.Contact for details
  2. All commissioned officers, serving and retired, of the Armed Forces, who are authorized canteen facilities. This category includes Honorary Commissioned officers.
  3. Widows of defence service officers, who are authorized canteen facilities, are eligible to purchase cars from Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
  4. All GREF and Coastal Guard Officers
  5. One of the parents of deceased or missing officers from border (Letter from Govt. of India (Ministry of Defence) is the valid authority in this regard)
  6. Equivalent status civilian officers/officers of CSD who are authorized canteen facilities. (Only in Southern states)
  7. Short service commissioned officers, who are authorized canteen facilities, with five years or more service
  8. EC Commissioned officers with less than 5 years service with sanction from QMG branch.
  9. Serving JCO's are entitled car upto 1400 cc.
  10. In theft case officer can purchase before expiry of 4 yrs period, with sanction from QMG Branch.
  11. Ex - Service JCO'S will be entitled to get cars through CSD w.e.f 1ST Jan 2009.
